This WordPress Theme is under development. But you can download ThaiTeam Theme – Beta Version and download ThaiTeam PSD from iMenn.com. If you can read Thai, please go to iMenn’s Blog.

Installation

1. download ThaiTeam Theme – Beta Version
2. Unpack the zip file. Upload by using FTP program to your Wordpress site to /wp-content/themes/thaiteam
3. Activate the theme through the “Appearance->Themes” menu in WordPress Admin
4. Go to Plugins -> Add new and add some plugins I will recommend.
5. Go to Setting -> Media: set
   1. Thumbnail Size:  200×150 px Crop (Catalog thumbnail size)
   2. Medium Size: Max width 600px (For Post)
   3. Large Size: Max width 640px (For Page)
6. Done, enjoy!

Create Catalog Page

1. Create new page name “Catalog” or whatever. Set “Template” to “Thai Team – Catalog” (Right middle box)
2. Create child pages, upload a picture in every page (via Add an images menu icon). Every child page will be shown as Catalog
3. If child pages have grandchild page, you have to set “Template” to “Thai Team – Catalog”

Create Home / Blog Page

1. To use WordPress as CMS, you have to create Home page and Blog page.
2. Go to Admin: Settings -> Reading -> Front page displays
   1. Front page: Home
   2. Post page: Blog

Sidebar and Widgets

1. Thaiteam will create Sidebars to each root-page automatically. You can see at Appearance -> Widgets
2. Add widgets to sidebar you want. Please note the “Home” widget will show as column, try just 2-4 widgets.

Plugins

1. Get The Image: Show thumbnail in catalog page (Required if use catalog page template)
2. PJW Query Child Of: Show Pages as Catalog (Required if use catalog page template)
3. simple Section Navigation Widget: Show Sub-Page in Sidebar (Required if need to show sub page)
4. pageMash > Page Management: Customise the order of your pages in WordPress Admin
5. WP Page Numbers: Show page numbers instead of next and previous links (Blog & Catalog)
6. Live Search Popup: Spotlight ™ like live search with an ajax popup (at top-right of navigation)
7. Lightbox Gallery: Change the view of galleries to the lightbox.
8. ILC Folding: Progressively reveal the children of each parent page in Sidebar

Create your own design

1. Download ThaiTeam Adobe Photoshop file
2. Change anything you want, Logo and Banner are recommended.
3. Replace image files in folder /thaiteam/images/

3. Feel free to use for commercial and non-commercial ventures. You don’t need to include a “Theme by” link! (though I would appreciate a link)
